According to Peterson's Hunting and Alabama Game and Fish, the Alabama Blackbelt Region is the best area to harvest your trophy whitetail deer and turkey. Autauga and Perry County and the four counties which adjoin them (Dallas, Wilcox, Lowndes, and Marengo) are known throughout the US as the "Whitetail Capitol of the Nation" with more whitetail deer per acre than any other region in Alabama. With an ever-increasing population of eastern wild turkey, Alabama is an affordable and productive destination for the big game hunter.
Our property has been strictly managed for 20 years to produce superior quality whitetail deer and eastern wild turkeys. Alabama's Turkey Ridge Hunting Preserve is made up of various tracts of woodland systems including stands of pines, hardwood ridges and bottoms, swamps, and planted green fields, and creeks. This private land has had minimal and carefully managed commercial hunting. Much of our land planted in corn, wheat and soybeans to provide our wildlife with exceptional nutrition and growth potential.
We strive to provide you a quality hunting experience in one of the best hunting environments in the world. We are one of the most affordable hunting lodges in the Southeast. Come join us for the hunt of a lifetime at Alabama's Turkey Ridge Hunting Preserve.
